Listening to THE VOTE debate. And I say, VOTE DAMMIT VOTE. I want a list of who wants to surender and who doesn't. That way I have a list of who the francophile, cheese eating, surrender monkies are! Then I can help get them voted out of office!

The whole damn thing was a political ploy. The MSM took Murtha's words out of context-he actually called for more troops in Iraq-either win or come home. But of course MSM didn't report it like that and of course the democrats were trying to use the words of an old war horse to discredit the Bush people. So, the republicans turned the tables on them and forced the issue. I wrote on it today after nearly posting a rant on it yeasterday. But Bill Quick has the right outlook as well as what was actually said by Murtha. Might be worth you taking a look at.

I look at this in the same was as I look at Harry Reid's stunt. Only I think this one is more effective in the eyes of "the People". Yes Murtha was taken out of context and to the extremes, but that was intentional because of the "etremes" that wanted to make Murtha some "hawk turned dove" and a "break" with the administration. So the administration with the help of the House leadership threw it right back at the Dems, HARDER. Forcing them to either put their votes where their mouth is or shut up.
I think it was quite effective as a "Political Ploy" myself. Sorry it had to happen to Murtha (I almsot liked the guy before this), but the Dems hung him out as a pinata and it was too juicy a target to not hit.
